I'm finally back home after having been out for a long time.

What were supposed to be 5 days became 15 and then almost an entire month due to troubles and accidents, all in a place where I had no way to draw properly.

I got back to work soon as I left several artworks undone but, even worse, I have to check if I'm still in time for some of such works as they had a time limit to be delivered and I'm afraid I passed it by at least a week.

Gotta stay away from home (and my PC) for some days or even weeks due to unexpected troubles.

May not be able to post new artworks in the meanwhile

Realized now that I never used the "digital pencil" tool; tried it recently and it takes me less time to draw with it than direct brush and at the comics school they don't mind if I draw lineart of pencil (maybe they even prefer the latter).

So, I'll start posting some pencil drawings from now on. Mostly sketches and character design, but I may also draw fanarts and simple stuff if they're appreciated.

Finally got the refund, ordered and got components compatible with my PC.

Now it works; I gotta buy more PC fans but for now I can get back to draw, which means finishing my pic for Halloween as well (the important part, at least).

It won't be an illustration like the last years; this time it's a... ... character, technically. More like a creature to use in comics, TransForm seqeuences and toon gags.

The new components arrived one day earlier.

Is it good news? NO, because I got the wrong model which is even incompatible with my PC, so I have to ask for a refund, send it back and look for the correct model.

And I even wasted the entire day trying to make it work, just to then fix back my PC with the old (but somehow still working) components.

Yesterday I had new issues with my PC. After some tests, I found out that the hard drive where I use to store games, programs and my drawings is about to break and, if that's not enough, the entire PC is suffering from overheat due to recent system updates.

I ordered a new case+cooling system and a new hard drive; in the meanwhile I'm transferring all the important files from the old Hard drive to another one I keep for emergencies like this.

I emptied my savings to make the purchase and, once the new hard drive arrives (and if it works), I also have to transfer all the files there. Just like I weren't low on time already.

Today I resumed my studies at the comix school (interrupted years ago due to c0v1d emergency) and had my first day there after years.

Since I also have to make exercises at home (expecially because I feel a little uncomfortable at drawing on paper), that's gonna take me some time and it also mean some of the new artworks I'll upload will be based on lessons at school.

I'm going to finish the couple of drawings I started, but honestly I don't know if I'll manage to fit some Halloween-themed artworks in my schedule. I'll see in the next days.

After solving the little gallery problem without any complication (thanks to Umeastro), I confirm my decision to shift most of my activity from DeviantArt to NewGrounds.

The reason why it's happening just now is because DA is changing their rules and policy again, but this time with the promise to wipe out all NSFW material and everything close to it from the website; many of my artworks (and those of people I know there) seem to belong to the "everything close to it" category.

I already started this change by making my very first NewGrounds post yesterday, and I'd like to force myself to make more of them to keep my account active.

Also, I gathered some of the old artworks I made but didn't post here (only on DA), with the intent to upload them one by one.

When I get some more time, I should also update my Collabinator post and create a new Commission sheet. There's a lot of things I should do.

Since DeviantArt was becoming too toxic and risky, I was about to move my "Base" here on NewGrounds and repost some of my old works here as well, but suddenly over 20 of my last artworks posted here disappeared!

Everything I posted here after January just vanished, without leaving any trace, like I never posted it in first place.

I noticed that there're some updates on how to publish artworks, but I don't see a connection between the two things.

Can someone explain me what happened and why?

And right when I thought I would be fine here and ready to get more active. The irony... ...
